Whole Foods Market
A well located but tired strip center in a lakefront suburb west of Cleveland was transformed through partial demolition and a new Whole Foods Market. Relying on decades of entitlement experience, MV+A worked with the shopping center owner and the City of Rocky River to secure the necessary rezoning and Site Plan approvals.
With existing tenants on both sides, MV+A designed the shell building to both compliment the exiting center and to create a new dynamic place for Whole Foods. As the architects for both the shell and interiors, we designed the store to be both a convenient source of healthy food and a gathering place for the community.
