A major focus of the design was protecting the existing 100’ tall Willow Oak trees to the south, and connecting to the new Nature’s Edge Park to the north.   Significant attention was paid to developing a functional dropoff that accommodates vehicular traffic, while maintaining a welcoming pedestrian oriented front door.  The building fully wraps a precast parking structure to serve the project so that no parking was exposed to the prominent exteriors.  When sculpting the massing, careful attention to solar access to the internal courtyard was paid. The project sets a high standard for the future buildings on the site to come.
